Farewell Iran

We left for Tehran airport early to avoid traffic but also the smog levels had risen (code orange).Schools  and kindergartens were closed due to this as petrol isn't refined properly in Iran .It was interesting hearing the news from an Iranian perspective .According to locals 50% of women find it abhorant having to wear the head scarf but if disobeyed they will quickly be arrested .People were open to hearing our beliefs and we had some amazing discussions. Their were many and varied ways of sharing our faith and one night on a bus ride home our family were asked to sing so we chose Amazing Grace which was received joyfully .One young man gladly accepted a bible after showing him verses .His comment was it was dangerous for him to read the bible and attend church .For foodies we had lots of kebabs but their were some lovely dishes such as pomegranate sauce on chicken and various egg plant dishes .Lastly we thank the Lord for keeping us safe and for our praying friends.
