In the distance we could see the Ponte Vecchio bridge from our hotel balcony.....so cool after having an etching of it hanging in our home for the last 28 years given to me from my Aunt Lois. The Duomo was stunning and well worth climbing the 480 steps to the top!After a couple of days we headed on our journey to Spain stopping off at Pisa.
